Seth Viddal, managing partner of The Natural Funeral, a living arts center for holistic end-of-life education and green funerary care in Lafayette, Colorado, invites members of the death-care community to attend the inaugural Body Composting Conference, March 16-17 at the Sonesta Hotel in Downtown Denver.
The event is being held in celebration of the attention natural organic reduction has received nationally and globally and is the first gathering of its kind. It will include an all-star cast to bring excitement to this emerging conversation.
The event will feature numerous headliners, including Caitlin Doughty, Katrina Spade, Daniel Ziskin, Ph.D., David Heckel, Lauren Carroll, Erin Merelli, Lynne Carpenter-Boggs, Ph.D., Gail Rubin, Micah Truman, Katey Houston, Eric Rooney, Nicole Matarazzo, and Ben Martin.
Viddal will serve as the emcee for the event.
Tickets and details for in-person attendance and remote livestreaming can be found here.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds, Viddal vowed. He noted that the ticket page includes a “Donation” button, so that attendees can pay what they are able for either in-person or virtual attendance.
