FT North America, the leading manufacturer of the highest quality, safest and most efficient cremation equipment on the market, announced that Tom Clayton has joined the company as the director of business development.  In this new role, he will assist the company with financial analysis, deal execution, market intelligence, and high‑value growth opportunities.

This role will report directly to Michael Miller, chief operating officer, who said, “We are extremely excited to welcome Tom back to FT North America. I believe that identifying strategic, financial, and operational opportunities fits well with Tom’s strengths and professional goals.”

Big Things Happening at FT

Clayton’s hiring comes after a wave of innovations by the company, including the introduction of the FT-USA-XL – which will be the company’s first “mid-range” offering.

“The FT-USA/XL will be FT’s first mid-range offering for those crematories that do about 200-500 cremations annually,” Miller said in an earlier interview. “It is designed with FT’s unmatched quality, safety and efficiency, but fits between our FT-USA, designed for up to 200 calls annually, and the FTIII we are known for in high-volume crematories performing over 500 cremations or more annually.”
