Funeral Directors Life Names Tom Nicklas as Director of Sales Development

Funeral Directors Life recently announced that Tom Nicklas will be its director of sales development in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

“With more than 25 years of experience in the funeral profession, I’m confident Tom will bring leadership and guidance to our funeral home clients,” said Kris Seale, president and CEO of Funeral Directors Life. “We are very excited to have Tom join our sales management team.”

Nicklas served as a funeral director and preneed counselor in Pennsylvania and was a field sales manager from 2014 to 2021. Before joining FDL, he spent three years as a preneed marketing representative.

“Tom’s experience will greatly benefit our funeral home clients,” said Stewy Stewart, regional sales vice president for Funeral Directors Life. “We are excited to see Tom help funeral home owners adapt to the changing consumer and share ideas to help grow their businesses.”

Nicklas graduated from Northampton School of Mortuary Science and obtained his Pennsylvania funeral director’s license in 1997. Since then, he has helped at-need and preneed families while always supporting local funeral homes.
