Underscoring its commitment to professional development for funeral service professionals and students, the Funeral Service Foundation is now accepting applications for the National Funeral Directors & Morticians’ 2025 Annual Convention and Exposition.

Thanks to generous donors, the foundation is honored to offer 10 scholarships to the annual convention, held this year in Secaucus, New Jersey from July 5-9. Valued at $2,200, each scholarship will cover full convention registration fees, three nights of lodging, and up to $500 in travel reimbursement.

Applications are open as of March 2 to licensed funeral directors, morticians, embalmers, and students of funeral service who are enrolled and actively taking coursework in ABFSE- or Canadian-accredited funeral service.

Application Details: Using a common application format, all scholarship candidates are required to answer five questions in no more than 250 words per question, and submit a brief video, no longer than two minutes. Late applications are not accepted. The deadline to apply is Thursday, April 30 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. All applicants will be notified of their status by late May.
