Thomas Parmalee, founder of FuneralVision.com, said he’s offering each URL at an affordable price — $1,499 per URL. If someone wants to buy all the URLs, he is willing to offer a discount, he said.
“There are many URLs you can buy to start a business, engage with customers, or market a product or service, but I’ve focused on the best extension — .com — which is the holy grail in terms of connecting with customers,” he said. “All of these URLs I think would be very attractive to the right person or company, and frankly, I am surprised that someone let them expire, so I could buy them.”
While similar URLs are often sold for several thousand dollars or even more, Parmalee said while he hopes to turn a profit on buying and selling the URLs, his larger goal is to call attention to the fact that these valuable URLs are available at an affordable price, so that the right person or company can make use of them.
