If you look at Jamie McDermott’s resume, you’ll be impressed.
He got his start in death care in 1994, working in sales at B&L Cremation Systems, spending two separate stints at the company for a combined 12 years or so.
He’d go on to work at U.S. Cremation Equipment before spending more than 13 years as a business development manager at Legacy Touch and then a short stint with Direct Recycling Systems.
Now, FT North America is welcoming him to its team as an account executive, where he will help clients with his deep insights about cremation — and also help grow FT’s business.
“I’m looking forward to working with the FT The Americas team and being part of the European Facultatieve Technologies network,” McDermott said in a post on LinkedIn — one that was flooded with well wishes.
