Selected Independent Funeral Homes, the world’s premier association of independent funeral homes, celebrates staff member Amy Hunt for 20 years of service.
Hunt was recently profiled in a recent edition of FuneralVision.
She joined Selected in July 2003 as manager of Selected Resources, Inc., leading all aspects of Selected’s then for-profit subsidiary that provided literature, marketing materials and consultant services to members. In February 2008, Amy was promoted to director of meetings and education. In this role, she has managed all aspects of Selected’s meetings including the NextGen Seminar, the Selected Leadership Academy Conference and the Annual Meeting.
Amy also facilitates two of Selected’s advisory committees and serves as senior editor of the bimonthly publication, The Bulletin.
“Amy Hunt’s 20-year tenure at Selected Independent Funeral Directors has been invaluable,” said Byron Calhoun, Selected’s board president. “Her leadership, industry knowledge, and commitment have elevated the organization’s standards. Amy’s compassion and interpersonal skills have fostered strong relationships and ensured the organization’s success. Her contributions have made a lasting impact, and we celebrate her achievement with great pride and admiration.”
“Amy’s dedication, care for people, passion to serve and contributions the past 20 years have been invaluable to our organization,” said Denise Zoephel, assistant executive director and chief operating officer. “She is one of the best people I have ever worked with.”
“Amy embodies the very best of what Selected is all about: care, warmth, fun, curiosity, and generosity,” said Rob Paterkiewicz, executive director and CEO. “Amy IS Selected, and we are all proud and fortunate to work with her every day.”
Selected thanks Hunt for 20 years of dedication, leadership and the contributions she has made to the association’s storied history and looks forward to many more years to come.
