Welton Hong, the founder and CEO of Ring Ring Marketing recently made a big announcement: Jill Lazar has joined his firm as vice president of business development.
In this role, Lazar (pictured at top) will focus on developing strategic partnerships and joint venture opportunities to help RRM’s growth in death care (its primary vertical), along with several other growing RRM divisions.
Lazar is uniquely suited for this position, given her extensive experience in the funeral profession and sales. She is a licensed funeral director and certified preplanning consultant.
In recent years, Lazar has been a featured presenter at the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association’s Dead Talks event and its international convention. She also was chosen to participate in Selected Independent Funeral Homes’ Leadership Academy and is the recipient of several scholarships from the Funeral Service Foundation.
“I’m very excited to join Welton and the Ring Ring team in their mission to help more small businesses succeed in 2024,” Lazar said.
She continued: “No one understands better than RRM how to help funeral homes and cemeteries protect market share and adapt to the technological evolution affecting businesses today. At the same time, RRM is rapidly expanding to help home care, hospice, and home improvement firms outpace their competitors and secure the future of their businesses.”
Hong said Lazar and her skillset will be key components to RRM’s plans in 2024 and beyond.
“No one could be more perfectly suited to help us develop and expand strategic partnerships than Jill,” Hong said. “Her hands-on experience provides a unique insight into the challenges funeral homes are facing, along with the opportunities we can help them leverage.”
Hong continued: “All the sales, networking and presentation skills Jill has developed in death care will serve us well as we continue to grow our home care, hospice and home improvement divisions. This is a very exciting time at RRM, with a lot of irons in the fire, and I couldn’t be more thrilled that Jill is here to help us navigate that process.”
Lazar will work in tandem with Hong and RRM’s sales force, which has expanded in recent months to 10 senior consultants under the leadership of Steve Haren, director of sales.
RRM provides comprehensive marketing solutions for funeral homes and cemeteries across the United States. Simultaneously, its Hospice Haven Marketing, Senior Care Marketing Max and RRM@Home divisions are expanding RRM’s reach into those industries.
Hong is a respected speaker at numerous industry conferences and a regular contributor to industry publications. He is also the author of several marketing books for the death-care profession and other verticals.
He is also one of the speakers at Funeral IQ, which FuneralVision.com is co-hosting with Sympathy Brands. The event will be Sept. 20, 2024, at the Live! Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
