John Heald, a licensed funeral director, former funeral home owner, entrepreneur and longtime executive at Legacy.com, was recently promoted to chief growth officer at the company — and he sat down with FuneralVision.com to share some insights about his new role as well as advancements at the company.
In the interview, he emphasized he’ll be focusing on the funeral service space as much as ever, and while he’s never been fixated on titles, he is excited about taking on a new challenge to move the company forward.
He also shared why he’s so appreciative to have been so involved with the Funeral Service Foundation, which he currently serves as chair, as well as how innovations in artificial intelligence are reshaping funeral service.
