Envision Strategic Partners, which works hand-in-hand with family-owned and operated mortuaries to increase revenue with its preneed sales and marketing program, has announced that Karen Shine has joined its team as director of business development.

Shine most recently worked as a senior sales consultant with Ring Ring Marketing, which Envision calls “one of our favorite marketing partners.” There, she rubbed elbows with Welton Hong, the founder of Ring Ring who serves as a secret weapon for top-performing funeral homes,  and the rest of the Ring Ring team.

Hong had only great things to say about Shine, who he said lived up to her last name.

“Her radiant spirit and exceptional sales acumen not only fueled our success, but also brought warmth and kindness to every interaction,” he said. “She was a true embodiment of greatness in both work and character. As she embarks on her new journey with Envision, we wholeheartedly wish her the best of luck and continued success. Her presence will be deeply missed, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts and team.”

Envision noted in its announcement that Shine brings more than 14 years of experience in the death-care profession to its team, having started her career under the leadership of Lisa Baue with Baue Funeral Homes in St. Charles, Missouri, “where she learned how to serve with grace and excellence.”

In addition to being a licensed funeral director and advanced planning specialist, she also owned her own Farmers Insurance agency.

“She has found success with all of her past endeavors, and we are honored to be a part of this next chapter as Karen helps us continue to expand and support funeral home clients,” according to Envision.
