There is some exciting news in the world of death care: Parting Stone, which empowers families in their grief by providing a stone-like alternative to cremated remains, will appear on the hit show “Shark Tank” on April 7. The show will air from 8 to 9 p.m. Eastern Time on ABC.
In a blog post, the company notes, “We’re thrilled to announce that Parting Stone will be featured on an upcoming episode of the ABC television show Shark Tank! Watch the episode on April 7th at 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, and see if our founder, Justin Crowe, can swim with the ‘sharks’ and come out with a deal.”
In this sneak preview highlighting Crowe’s performance on the show, you can find out how much he initially asks the investors in exchange for a 5% stake in the company.
Crowe notes in the blog post, “One of the biggest challenges we face as a small business is educating the public that when you choose cremation, you can receive stones instead of ashes. We are excited to have the attention of the sharks and the national stage to share our story and help more people heal through a form of remains that can be touched, held, and shared with the community.”
