Milestone Funeral Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Heidi Stebok as HR generalist, welcoming an experienced human resource professional whose enthusiasm, approachable nature and genuine care for people make her a natural fit for the Milestone team.
Stebok brings to Milestone a professional journey that is anything but ordinary. She began her career as a firefighter with Cal Fire in Southern California, proudly serving for six years and dedicating herself to protecting life, property and the environment. That experience helped shape the strong work ethic, resilience and commitment to service that continue to guide her today.
After relocating to Middle Tennessee, she brought that same dedication to a new calling, human resources. Beginning as an HR Administrator, she quickly advanced through her eagerness to learn, professionalism and empathetic approach. She went on to build extensive HR experience, primarily within the manufacturing industry, while also gaining valuable experience in higher education through her work at Tennessee Tech University.
Now calling Maine home, Stebok joins Milestone Funeral Partners with a broad professional background, strong leadership abilities and, perhaps most importantly, a sincere enjoyment of working with and supporting people.
In her role as HR generalist, she will support Milestone’s employees and funeral home partners while helping foster a workplace where team members feel welcomed, valued and supported. Her people-focused mindset complements Milestone’s belief that caring for families begins with caring for the professionals who serve them.
For Stebok, joining Milestone also marks the beginning of a new chapter, both professionally and personally, as she settles into life in Maine. Outside of work, she enjoys hands-on DIY projects and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. She also loves gardening and appreciates the creativity, patience and care required to help things grow, qualities that translate remarkably well to a career centered around people.
At its heart, Milestone believes that strong organizations are built by good people who care deeply about what they do. With her experience, enthusiasm and naturally cheerful spirit, Heidi is a welcome addition to that philosophy, and to the Milestone family.
