Milestone Funeral Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Lang Hoyt as chief financial officer.
In this role, Hoyt will lead the company’s finance organization, overseeing financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, capital planning, corporate development, and acquisition strategy. His appointment reflects Milestone’s continued investment in building a strong executive leadership team to support its expanding network of funeral homes, cemeteries, and cremation providers throughout the Northeast.
As chief financial officer, Hoyt will play a key role in advancing Milestone’s long-term financial strategy while strengthening the financial infrastructure that supports the company’s continued growth. He will work closely with executive leadership to enhance financial planning, improve operational visibility, support strategic acquisitions, and ensure the organization remains well-positioned for sustainable success.
Hoyt brings extensive experience in strategic finance, financial planning and analysis, capital allocation, and corporate development across high-growth and acquisition-oriented businesses. Most recently, he served as director of financial planning and analysis at VETRO, a software company serving the broadband industry. Prior to VETRO, he held finance leadership positions with The Wanderlust Group, where he partnered closely with executive teams on financial strategy, forecasting, operational execution, and growth initiatives. Earlier in his career at WEX, Hoyt supported the company’s corporate development and mergers and acquisitions activities, helping evaluate investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Throughout his career, Hoyt has partnered with executive teams and investors to strengthen forecasting, improve financial and operational visibility, support strategic decision-making, and build scalable finance organizations. At Milestone Funeral Partners, he leads the company’s finance function, supporting capital planning, financial reporting, acquisitions, and the company’s continued growth.

Hoyt earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and holds a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College. He resides in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, with his wife and daughter. Outside of work, Hoyt enjoys cycling, hiking, skiing, sailing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
