Monica Torres, an influencer, public speaker, international technical trainer, instructional designer, author and the owner of NXT Generation of Mortuary Support will soon be able to add a new item to her very full resume: Hall of fame inductee.
Torres, who has been featured on the cover of numerous trade journals who have recognized her contributions to the profession, will be inducted into the Mesa Community College Hall of Fame on Nov. 2 at the college in Mesa, Arizona.
The event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required. A reception will begin at 6 p.m. at the MCC Art Gallery Patio followed by the induction program at 7 p.m.
According to a flier highlighting her induction in the “service” category, Torres is one of the profession’s most sought-after speakers and one of the only Latinas recognized as an international expert in her field.
Torres graduated from funeral service and mortuary science program at the college in 2010. Ever since, she has been breaking barriers as a business owner who has taught countless professionals best practices in embalming.
Reserve your spot to attend the Torres’ induction ceremony.
