Serendipitously, @need’s business development representative, Daniel Hug, began his career in the funeral profession working as a membership development director for Selected. His intimate knowledge of and affinity for the organization was instrumental in the decision to prioritize membership in the group.

“I have such fond memories of my time at Selected,” says Hug. “The relationships I forged there and the connections I witnessed among members were unforgettable, and I truly believe in what they are doing for the funeral profession as a whole. I was absolutely delighted to help facilitate @need’s induction into this wonderful group of people who care so much about the important work they do.”

Even before Hug came to @need Marketing in 2023, the agency had goals to become a member of Selected. As someone who grew up in a family-owned and operated funeral home, Michael Anderson—president of @need Marketing—always felt drawn to the mission and purpose of the organization.
