@need Marketing is pleased to announce the addition of Temeika Love to their growing team, joining as senior account manager.
In her new role, Love will lead @need’s account management team to serve the agency’s nationwide network of funeral home and cemetery partners, supporting them with the strategic communication and relationship-building that defines the @need client experience.
Love brings nearly three decades of marketing experience to the role, with a career spanning media buying, direct mail campaign execution and cross-channel engagement. A graduate of Northern Kentucky University, where she earned her marketing degree on a full academic scholarship, Love has long understood how to build programs that communicate with care and purpose.
For Love, joining @need Marketing is more than a career move — it’s a homecoming. Before her stints with USA Today Co., Inc. (formerly Gannett) and SageSure, Love spent nearly two decades working in the preneed space with The Outlook Group, which merged with Precoa in 2017.
It was then that Love amicably left the funeral space to pursue another path, while her former Outlook members Michael Anderson and Jenny McClanahan went on to form what would become @need Marketing. Almost ten years later, with the agency successfully growing, Anderson and McClanahan knew who they wanted to call to help their partners feel cared for.
“I can honestly say I’m coming back home,” said Love. “This is a full-circle moment, returning to where my career began. I’m surrounded by people I know, respect, and see as family. What excites me most is getting to collaborate with highly sought-after individuals in a space where ideas can grow and everyone feels supported and heard. And of course, doing that work in service of funeral professionals who give so much of themselves to the families they serve will always be fulfilling.”

Outside of work, Love is a self-described die-hard Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Lakers fan who will watch just about any sport on the schedule: track and field, soccer, tennis, swimming—you name it. She is equally at home shopping or spending quality time with her “three sisters from another mother,” and is deeply committed to her faith and community, serving on the usher board and teaching weekly Bible study for youth at Faith Fellowship International.
