The June 30 event brought together community members, local leaders, chamber representatives, and funeral home staff to commemorate the transformation of the former Brent Taylor Funeral Directors into Oak Grove Funerals and Cremations. Highlights included a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Collierville Mayor Maureen Fraser, guided facility tours, community engagement activities, and a donation drive supporting the Little Free Food Pantry.
For Heritage Family, the occasion represented more than a rebranding effort. Founded in 2020 by Brent Taylor, the funeral home joined the Heritage Family network in January 2022. The transition to the Oak Grove brand in May 2026 reflects the funeral home’s evolution while positioning it for continued growth throughout the Collierville and greater Memphis markets.
