Precoa, the national leader in preneed marketing and sales, recently announced an evolution in its leadership structure, one that reflects its accelerating pace of innovation and growth on behalf of leading funeral homes across the country.
As part of the transition, Michael Hornibrook will continue serving as chief executive officer, while Tyler Hornibrook will assume the role of president. This formalizes an operational reality that has developed over the past several years as Precoa has increased not only in size, but in the breadth and depth of its offerings.
“Our teams adapt in real time, with people stepping up and growing into new roles where they can make an even bigger impact for our partners,” said Michael Hornibrook. “That adaptability has propelled us forward, and our intention now is to bring greater clarity to how we operate so we can keep improving the quality of the experiences we provide to funeral homes and families.”
Nowhere is this more evident than in a series of groundbreaking product launches. Last fall, Precoa introduced its purpose-infused preplanning platform, Sales Studio. It also introduced Everplans, a digital life-planning hub that provides a new post-sale experience for families and funeral homes. In recent years, Precoa also helped launch the family-focused aftercare solution, Everything After, and continues to back the rapidly growing full-service funeral home marketing agency, @need Marketing.
There are exciting new innovations on the horizon as well. Precoa has been working behind the scenes on a full reimagining of its infrastructure and systems. This will open up a world of new capabilities and nurture paths, elevating the already high standard set
by Precoa Pro for helping funeral homes reach more families while driving a sustained increase in preneed volume for years to come.
To build on this momentum and create greater clarity going forward, Michael Hornibrook will continue focusing on long-term strategy, the strength of key partnerships, and leadership development as CEO. He will work alongside newly promoted Chief Growth Officer Tyler Anderson to expand services and value offerings for our funeral home partners. At the same time, Tyler Hornibrook will oversee organizational clarity and alignment, day-to-day execution, and fulfilling Precoa’s brand promises to significantly grow and sustain preneed sales, complete program integration, and the highest quality experiences for funeral homes and families.
“Celebrating our 20th anniversary last year was a great opportunity to look back at how far we’ve come while also looking ahead to the next twenty years and beyond,” said Tyler Hornibrook. “As teams and emerging leaders continue to raise the bar across the company, our goal is to give them the runway they need to do the best work of their careers and unleash new levels of performance.”
“I’ve often said that people are the purpose,” Michael added. “We take great pride in finding, training, and growing the right people, and I can say that at every level, Precoa is more talent-dense than ever before. I’m excited by what our next chapter will make possible with a team so deeply committed to supporting our funeral home partners and the families they serve.”
