The Davis Whitehall Co., a premier provider of personalized and customized urns to funeral homes in North America, has announced the completion of an expanded manufacturing center in Colorado Springs that now encompasses 15,600 square feet. The new facility represents a meaningful investment in the company’s employees, customers and the funeral profession.

“As a strategic partner to funeral homes and the families they serve, we recognize that it is more important than ever to stay ahead of our customers’ needs, and this project helps make us the kind of company that can do that,” said Terry School, president of The Davis Whitehall Co.  “This investment is a transformational step toward improving our ability to provide time-sensitive, innovative solutions to our funeral home customers while building additional supply chain capacity and efficiency.”

The expanded facility will increase the manufacturing area by more than 50% and a new design center has been added that accommodates four graphic designers along with new engraving equipment and printers.  The shipping and receiving areas have been enlarged as has the space where finished urns can be stored.  The front office area has also been enhanced with the addition of a reception area, additional office space and a conference room with an incredible view of Pike’s Peak.

“Every member of the Davis-Whitehall team is passionate about the service they offer and has dedicated themselves to the grieving families to create a one-of-a-kind memorial of their loved ones,” added School.  “This improvement to our facilities will assist us in delivering on this mission to create the last gift that a family will ever buy for their loved one.”
