The Dodge Company is proud to announce a $10,000 grant to Donate Life America in support of its Funeral Service Committee initiatives. This contribution reinforces Dodge’s long-standing commitment to supporting the organ, eye and tissue donation field, a dedication that began more than two decades ago as the need for tissue donation education became increasingly important.
Dodge has been an industry leader in the role of caring for donors through advancements in product line, technical support, and training. Tim Collison, president (pictured at top), has led with his vision to inspire Dodge sales representatives and the company as a whole to serve as a vital bridge between funeral providers and tissue recovery agencies.
“This grant is a reflection of our belief that funeral professionals play a critical role in the donation journey,” Collison said. “By supporting Donate Life America, we are helping to build stronger connections between funeral homes and procurement agencies and ensuring that education and resources are accessible to those who serve families during their most difficult times.”
The grant will allow Donate Life America to expand resources for funeral professionals in two key ways:
- Create an online platform that connects funeral directors with their local organ, eye, and tissue recovery agencies.
- Partner with mortuary science programs to offer curriculum, including the Donation Law Module, and introduce students to the importance of donation early in their careers.
These tools will add to DLA’s existing library of funeral service resources.
