Tim Fish, who has spent more than 20 years in various roles in the death-care profession, has taken on a new challenge: He’s joined National Guardian Life Insurance Co. as a regional vice president.

Fish, who graduated with a degree in marketing from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and who also holds an MBA from Webster University, got his start in death care in 200o with Matthews International, where he worked more than 15 years, marching up the ranks until he was director of business development, overseeing a large number of important accounts.

Next, he joined Global Atlantic Financial Group, where he was a division vice president, before embracing new challenges: first as a vice president of sales for Forethought Financial Group. Later, he teamed up with marketing titan Welton Hong, the founder and CEO of Ring Ring Marketing.

At Ring Ring, Fish served as vice president of sales and business development, helping Hong reach more clients so he could draw on his marketing prowess to turbocharge business operations.

While he’s tackling a new challenge, Fish had only kind words to say about Hong in a post on LinkedIn, noting his move to a new employer is bittersweet.

“I wanted to take this time to thank Welton Hong for the incredible opportunity he has given me to lead the sales and business development efforts at Ring Ring Marketing for the past 2+ years.,” he wrote. “I’ve never met or worked for a more kind and generous person in my career than Welton and he’s challenged me to be a better version of myself in my time working with him.” He added, “Thank you again for the opportunity, Welton and my best to you and the entire Ring Ring family. I wish you nothing but continued success in the future and I will always call you my friend.”
