Welton Hong, the founder and CEO of Ring Ring Marketing, will be one of the keynote speakers at Funeral IQ, Sept 20, at the Live! Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Hong, a former staff engineer at Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Intel, recently chatted with the founder of FuneralVision.com to share the fascinating story of how he got into marketing as a side hustle, which led him to discovering his true passion: helping business owners – particularly funeral professionals.

Even after he realized his true calling, however, he continued in his job as an engineer, joking that his wife would not allow him to stop working for someone else until he could prove he could earn a decent income as a full-time business owner.

At Funeral IQ, Hong will deliver a presentation titled “Turning Challenges into Opportunities: Digital Marketing Amid Low Death Rates.”

At the event, which includes a cocktail hour and lunch with registration, Hong will be teaming up to share insights with:

  • Chris Cruger, CEO of The Foresight Companies.
  • Shane Pudenz, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Carriage Services.
  • Dr. Amy Schiffman, a hospice care expert and the co-host of the “Mastering Medicare” podcast.
  • Michael Schimmel, CEO of Sympathy Brands.

Sign up for Funeral IQ by June 15 to SAVE $100 off your registration.
