FuneralVision.com recently introduced its Jobs Listing Engine to connect employers in funeral service with qualified staff.

Thomas Parmalee, the founder of FuneralVision.com, said he decided to develop the Jobs Engine after seeing how many funeral homes and suppliers are struggling to find qualified staff.

“There is no doubt about it: There is a staffing crunch throughout the profession,” Parmalee said. “When I visit the jobs page on LinkedIn or other sites, I see hundreds and hundreds of funeral homes as well as funeral suppliers seeking qualified applicants. I also see many funeral professionals – often recent mortuary science graduates – struggling to find a position.”

With all that in mind, Parmalee asked his friend Welton Hong, the founder of Ring Ring Marketing, if he could help.

“I explained to Welton that this is a serious problem — and that FuneralVision.com — which is now getting almost 15,000 page views per month, would be a great place for employers and employees to connect. I also wanted to offer an option that would lessen the burden on employers to advertise job openings — one that won’t cause them so much financial strain. Some employers are literally spending thousands of dollars to advertise a job opening and not getting any results.”

Starting now, employers — whether they be funeral providers or suppliers — can set up an employer account on FuneralVision.com to start posting jobs, Parmalee said.

“FuneralVision.com is introducing an attractive price point: You can post a job for 30 days for $99, or you can extend it to be live for 60 days and pay just $149,” Parmalee said.

The first job posting an employer posts will be FREE, Parmalee said.

“I want people to get comfortable using the platform,” he explained. “Also, like I said, I really don’t want this to be a financial burden for anyone. My goal truly is to help job seekers find a job and to help employers find qualified staff.”

He went on to note that FuneralVision.com is a great place to find qualified applicants since it is such a targeted site that only caters to death-care professionals. Moreover, passive job seekers — those already employed who may not be desperate to make a change but are open to the right opportunity — are likely to view job postings as they peruse the site,  he said.

FuneralVision.com thanks Welton Hong and the team at Ring Ring Marketing for their assistance in developing the Jobs Engine.

“Welton is all about helping funeral professionals, which is why he’s one of my favorite people, and also why I believe he’s been so successful” Parmalee said. “He’s never interested in what is in it for him — he just wants to ease pain points, and he saw right away that this was one of them. He helped make this a reality.”
